We cannot add more than 9 entries for the speed dial? Is this the limitation?

Yes, this is a limitiation (1-9). If you want more, you need a BlackBerry with a full QWERTY keyboard. They can have up to 26 (A-Z) speed dial entries.

actually depending on your bb's os you can do up to 13 for instance on my bb i have the 9 digits plus the ! ? . , keys..but whos counting..
