I've been a happy owner of a 7100g for a couple of weeks now. I loaded 4.1 on it in the first week, and had no problem with either that or anything since. Yesterday something strange happened though. PocketDay shut down with a java error or exception. The whole thing seemed locked up. Not knowing what else to do, I removed the battery for about 30 seconds and put it back in. It took about 6-8 minutes for it to boot up. When it did, all my call logs were gone and the option to log calls had been turned off. I used the desktop manager to back it up and to synch everything with outlook, and everything went fine. Thought my problem was solved. I left it plugged in to the laptop to charge overnight.
This morning I found it with the little icon showing that it was synching with the laptop. I hit 'escape' and nothing happened. I unplugged it and there was a small message in the center of the screen that said there was a java error (gave some number) and an option to reset. I did this. 8 minutes later, my system was back. Call logs were cleared again. Wireless was turned off. I checked and I have almost 3MB free memory. I'm deleting some themes that I don't use to free up some more. Could it have been a memory issue? Is this behavior caused by something else? I'm really in the dark here.
Daniel

I am having this exact same problem. It just started today. My calls list keeps getting cleared for no reason. My blackberry isn't locking up or anything. It just keeps clearing the call log.
I think i've got it figured out... Theres just too much loaded on this thing. I believe its out of space on the device and its clearing what it can in an attempt to make space. I removed 2 themes and a couple ringtones and it appears to be holding the call log now. If you go to Settings>Status it should tell you how many available bytes you have. Mine was at a big fat '0'.

I have close to 3MB free. That was the first thing I checked.
