Default Is it possible to replace the exterior case of 8700?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I have a 8700c.
I am trying to find out whether you can replace the case.
I rather have a black or a dark navy blue case.

I am not even sure whether i can purchase a case.
Does anyone know where I can purchase a different color case?

Do you mean case as in what holds the 8700 or case as in the actual housing of the 8700?

For cases to hold the 8700: do a "search" and you will see reviews by some members and lots of talk about cases.
Specifically lgreenberg (http://mysite.verizon.net/vzeptgpy/)
and Seattle18:(http://www.ocean18.com/blackberry/).

For Housings:
It appears not. Read this thread:
Official Word From ProMobility regarding 8700 cases

Also, a search of "replacement housings" gave me more threads you might want to look thru.

Good Luck.

As johnfromphilly already suggested, try a search.

I have done a search. I guess I need to wait until Mobile Pro? come up with a part to replace the housing. No one seems to know exactly when this black or unbranded housing will be available.

Availability of housings is always iffy. Housings for older models tend to have better availability (the inverse is true as well).
