What are you referring to? The Enterprise Activation icon on the homepage?

Highlight the icon, push the "alt" key and then push the scroll wheel. Select "hide icon". You can do this with any icon you do not want.

It is something completely different from Blackberry Internet Service, it is called BES, You have to pay a 3rd party to use this service. Like www.link2exchange.com there are a few other threads about it. If you search BES you will be able to find some. It allows for wireless syncing, and a bunch of other stuff. I wish I could explain more, but I dont have BES. So I just hid the icon until I decide to get it.

BES = BlackBerry Enterprise Services

As Liv stated, you can use this thru a third party. Or, many companies with a number of BlackBerry devices host their own BES server. FYI, Its not the cheapest thing in the world.

Ha ha, I agree. I had to hide mine.I know that when I do decide to get BES, It will add about $25 a month to the $50 I am already paying Cingular. I just can't bring myself to pay $75.00 a month yet. Maybe when I become super efficient and need it.

But the ability to wirelessly sync (even when I am across the nation) to my computer (which has to be left on) is so enticing, it is like calling me name now.

If you have BES, then you don't have to keep your PC on, it's all done at the server level.
