Question sim card error on 7230

Please Login to Remove!

Help guys!!

I have a 7230 and it was working fine up till a few days ago. Well for the last couple months every few days or so I would get a Sim Card Error message that would prevent me from placing calls or texts. Now, whenever I turn it off and pull the battery out to reset it like I have done in the past I still get the Sim card error message. I have tried cleaning the contacts on the sim card and the contacts with an eraser but that didn't help my problem any.

when i go into the options menu it says "no valid sim card".

When I go into options/applications it says Blackberry 3.7

any help would be appreciated!!

I'm still kinda new to using my blackberry only used it a few months and jsut for phone services so be kind.

Well, you could upgrade your software to 4.0, but my guess is that it is time to get a new SIM card.
