On my TMO 7230 I could choose which email address would appears as the sent from address while I was composing the message. I can't do that with my cingular 8700. Is there a setting I can change or was that a TMO only capability?

T-Mo has the upgraded BIS which allows this...Cingular does not....yet. There are tons of threads on this topic all over the forum.

Unless you have email set up on both BIS and BES in which case you can choose between Web Client (BIS) and Desktop (BES).
