Default Accessories for 8700g

Please Login to Remove!

It appears as thought some of the popular accessories for the 8700c will not fit the 8700g. Specifically skins and the Seidio Swivel Clip holster seem to not fit because of slight differences in the case design.

Does anybody know of skins that will fit the 8700g?
Also, any word on a Seidio Swivel Clip holster for the 8700g?

I emailed the Seidio people and they said:
"We will be making an 8700g specific holster in the very near future"

Cool. I've seen Seidio posting in other threads that they will have a 8700g version out in May: http://blackberryforums.com/showthread.php?t=31154

I ordered the 8700c version a couple of days ago. Earlier today I saw your picture of the 8700g in the Seidio holster (Thank you for posting that picture!!)

Looks like I'm going to have to return or sell Seidio holster. What are you doing with yours? Have you contacted Seidio about a return? Were the easy to deal with?

I emailed their support department and they sent me a link to an RMA form. I haven't got an RMA number but I don't expect any problems. Their return policy said that there may be a 15% restocking fee if the item is not returned in the original package so I don't know if Ixxx8217;m going to have to pay that or not but I would leave yours in the package just to be safe.

So far they have been helpful. I'll keep the forum updated on how it goes.
