Default New Handheld OS for T-Mobile 7100t?

Please Login to Remove!

A user that I support received a replacement 7100 from T-Mobile. It is running the 4.0.2.69 handheld OS. Anyone know where to download it? It is the first I have seen of it, and I had no luck at T-Mobile or Blackberry.

That is Handheld Software Version (4.0.2.49) - if I am not mistaken, the OP is asking about v4.0.2.69, which I've never seen nor heard of.

Me neither, I figured it was just a typo.

OK, I did a search on the forum. Can you tell me any information on 4.0.2.69?

I can verify this, I just received a 7100t for an RMA replacement and it came loaded with 4.0.2.69.

I couldn't find any information on the net about it.

So it has been confirmed that T-Mobile is shipping 7100s out with a version not available from their web site.

I called T-Mobile and the blackberry tech said that the refurb unit came from RIM and they did not have this new version of the software.
