Pocketday vs. Worldmate Just curious as to the opinion on the forum of these two products. I have used Worldmate on my Treo 650 and loved it. However, the interface on the BB 8700c is not the same and it seems to me that PocketDay does a better job and in the case of the professional version, $10 cheaper. |
Pocket day is great. I use it constantly |
PocketDay Pro is my choice but in all fairness, I havenxxx8217;t tried Worldmate. -MrKyoo |
I just checked Worldmate on Handango and it looks pretty nice. It is not really the same package as PocketDay. There is cross-over on weather and currency conversion. But Worldmate emphasises travel information (which PocketDay does not have except for world clocks in the Pocketday Professional version). PocketDay is more of a day-to-day package. It has a phenomonal Month view; it's the best calendar viewer that I have seen. It can also be used to create an "Outlook Today" style presentation although I don't personally do that. Stocks are another benefit. Then there is the built-in RSS reader (Pocketday Professional), the utilities etc. I think it's kind of apples and oranges comparing these two. |
I used to use Worldmate on my PPC, it's good, I like the ability to sync my itinerary from my assistant to my pc to my device. I hear great things about PocketDay too. |
I just downloaded pocket day based on some button mapping capabilities. Then I opened it, and got the settings changed and saw that it allowed for me to create my own "reply to" addresses (a bunch of them) - that was the jump and down feature for me. I was so excited to see that. I could not figure out how to use BBReply, so this is awesome :D |
It's good to see Liv happy. |
