I am using Outlook 2003 with redirector on Exchange Server. Would anyone know why every 12 hours or so I stop being able to send and receive email. I have to call into the office and ask someone to reboot my computer. Once rebooted and with Outlook and redirector running again, email is working again. The problem is that I have to do this every day. If I try just re-starting Outlook I get an error message saying that my pst. file in unavailable and already in use. Reboot seems to free the pst. file. Any sugestions.

Just an update on this issue. I moved my .pst file from the server to my local machine and Outlook does not freeze up anymore and therefore no need to reboot machine every morning. The only thing is that synchronising calendar and contacts does not work anymore. I keep getting error message "Internal Error 4198".

In the past when I've seen Internal Error 4198, it means that Intellisync can not properly read the Outlook Profile, even if Outlook can.

Resolution in the past has been to delete the existing Outlook profile and create a new one.

Outlook and make sure (sorry, I have to mention this) that you have all the correct settings that you'll need to create a new profile. Then when you start Intellisync it will ask which profile to use.
