Question Does the 8700c loose all data if battery runs out?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone. This is my first post in this forum using an 8700c on the Tmobile network. I did not find an answer to this questin. Does the BBerry loose all of its data if it runs out of battery? I come from the pocket pc world where it happens on units before windows mobile 5. By the way I really love this berry. I have had ppcs for years but this unit made me a true advocate of the mobile office

Thanks

Thanks. That is a GREAT feature that I was missing from the PPC world.I know WM5 has it now but the OS runs much slower.

My good-old-palm ran out of battery the moment I needed it the most.. out of town and I lost all my addresses.. Yes it was years ago.. and I have given up on them since.. And I had to keep replacing that expensive button backup-battery on the Casio PPC..

The next thing after I gave up on those.. my first BB (the 950 pager) already have flash memory..
