Default Web Browsing on 8700g

Whats the web browsing like on the 8700g? Specifically, how much better is it than the 7100t.

It will be faster using EDGE versus only GPRS on the 7100t. Other than that, thee should be no big differences.

It is noticably faster than 7100t(thank you EDGE). So much so that I actually use the browser on the 8700g whereas I avoided it if at all possible on the 7100t.

I was playing with the 8700g on T-Mobile and the EDGE is really not that much faster, my 7290 seemed to be just a tad slower. I'm not very impressed with EDGE.

Well-put.

It is no longer a "use as a last-ditch effort" kind of thing. It's actually useable now.

You must have been in a bad area....I've had 7290's and 80's and there is no comparison between GPRS and EDGE.

I have not compared the two (this is my first blackberry) but as far as I can tell, it moves pretty damn quick. I still can't get MySpace to work though. :(
