Default No browser on 8700g

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all

I had my unlocked 8700c going for a month or so. I went ahead and bought the 8700g yesterday and synced it all up. But, the browser STILL has not shown up. I registered the device a few times on the network. I yanked the battery out. I tried to reregister my PIN on myt-mobile site and resend the service books. Still, no browser service book. Any ideas?

You may want to contact T-Mobile and ask them if the service has been enabled for your account. We've had similar issues on some of the BBs that we deploy in our workplace. Don't let the support people put you off (some providers will do that) and make them ensure you it is enabled.

Yeah, I'd thought of that, but the thing is that I've been on a BB for 3 years with the same plan, so up until I switched phones yesterday, everything was tip top.

It took about one hour before the service books were sent to my new phone after I had made the change to the PIN and IMEI numbers online.

In the past, any changes were about 10-15 minutes, but this time it was longer...I was worried for a bit, but it all came through and I'm all set now!
