Default BlueTooth Headset for 7100i ?

Please Login to Remove!

I know from reading here that the BT500 is popular, and also the BT250 I think.

But what I am primarily interested in is which one is loudest. I have some hearing loss and like as loud as I can get.

What earpeice/headset/etc do you all like and which is loudest?

Thanks!

I use a Motorola HS850. It fits just fine with glasses on. I have seen some conversation in the past about the HS850 echoing, but I've never had that problem. They must have worked out whatever issues they had.

As for volume, I haven't used any others to compare, but I often use mine on a noisy shop floor, and I can generally hear pretty well.

I find my HS850 is never loud enough -- especially with a car window or sunroof open. Shop around and let us all know what you discover.

Hi all - just got a Moto H605 ... it's TOO loud unless I put the volume at about 2/3. FINALLY, a headset that's not just "barely loud enough"!

I also love the Cellpoint Flamingo, but without a travel charger, it's another wall wart and "stand" to carry around.

THe H605 uses the same miniusb connector. I've also paired it with my laptop and Razr and it seems to work well with all three.

The only downside is that it does pick up ambient noise - fans - but it's not been noticeable to my callers.

Cheers,
mj

The Cardo Scala 500 works extremely well with glasses and has decent (imo great) volume to it. worked extremely well with my 7100i

I have been using a Jabra BT250v, I wear glasses and I use the headset for about 10 hours a day. It's very comfortable and the volume is great, sometimes forget I have it on. Doesn't bother me with glasses on. Recommend it highly

Same here....volume could be louder on the HS850.

I wear glasses as well & I haven't experienced any issues with the HS820, H500. I prefer the H500 due to it's louder volume. The HS820 is just not loud enough IMHO. I also had a Plantronics unit that was very loud, don't remember which model. It was purchased at the Nextel store though.

I wear the BT250v all day. It's light, comfortable and loud enough to use in the car with the sunroof open. I would highly recommend it.
