I dont have anywhere to upload mp3s to host them so I can go download them as ringers. I've tried e-mail'ing them to me, but I cannot download the attachment, what can I do to get MP3 ringers onto my phone?

You can't email ringers to your phone...we have all pretty much tried at one point or another

A lot of people go to a free hosting place...and host them there. Some of the people here upload them to their own servers.

I can provide some server space for you to upload your ringtones to.

All you have to do is go to where you have them hosted and click on them to open them, when it opens use the trackwheel to go to the save option.

So if your interested in borrowing some server space from me for a bit let me know (that goes for anyone here on the forum)

I have successfully emailed ringtones to myself via gmail. I set a browser option to emulate IE and I think that allowed me to download them through an email.

Never tried that, I always want to preview it before I decide to keep it. I don't think there is a way to not play it though.

Sure - that would be because the 8700 does not support ADP files. It does support MP3s however.

Apologies, I was under the impression that this was a good place to get Ringtones for the 8700.............I'll have a look around again and see where I should go.
