I have a new 8700g and two email addresses configured. Both are IMAP. One an at an ISP, one at our own server. Deleting messages on the BB causes the messages to be deleted on the IMAP server (as they should be). But the reverse is not true. Deleting messages in the INBOX does *not* cause deletion on the device (as it should).

Thoughts? Solutions?

It's only one way reconciliation, and it's working as designed. Two way would be nice though.

... for the quick post. Do you happen to know if CIngulair handles two-way reconcile?
It's hard to understand why Tmobile didn't bother to do it as it is not much more work. To me, 2-way reconcile is "base functionality" and would be a good reason to select one vendor over another.

Eventually, all will work the same way as they upgrade to BIS 2.0. It's RIM that designs the system, not Tmo.

The service is quite amazing... this is the only wrinkle I've encountered.
