Default 8700c not reconciling with BIS

Please Login to Remove!

My 8700c with Cingular is not reconciling wirelessly with BIS. When I go to the message options and then Email Reconciliation, for "Message Services: Web Client" there are no options. It is just blank. Any ideas? I have resent the service book.

Try resending the service books via the BIS website.

you will have to call Cingular blackberry support to have the add that to your BIS if resending the service books does not help. Some account have the wireless sync disabled for whatever reason.

Does 'reconcile' pretty much mean matching the BB email to what's on the desktop? I have yahoo mail set up on the 8700g and have tried to select 'reconcile now' but I don't see anything happening....I have messages in my outbox in yahoo mail that aren't on my BB (since they were there before I got my BB on Monday). Any way to make these mirror?

The only way for reconcile to work is with redirector or BES. Until Cingular get the new version of BIS.

As for Yahoo mail, or any mail server, it will not reconcile messages pre BIS setup.
