Default help just installed 4.1

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys i just recently installed 4.1 and now when i open up the black berry desktop manager and click on application loader it takes forever to load it in fact it keeps freeezing all it says is connecting to device (JVM) can anyone help me thanks

This requires a hard reset. Take the battery out, wait a few seconds and put the battery back in. If that doesn't work, backup all your info and software, wipe the device and reload the OS and then everything else. If that doesn't help, call your provider.

hey erica how long should my blackberry take to restart cuz it taken an awful long time thanks

could this long connecting time have any relation to me not delete my vendor file b4 installin 4.1 ??????//

Nope. Nothing to do with not deleting the Vendor.XML file.

Sounds like the load didn't work properly.

Get a copy of Javaloader; wipe the BB out completely and try to reload the OS.

It shouldn't take that long to restart, less than 20 seconds.

NJ, I know this is off topic for this thread but go look at the homepage. At the bottom where members are listed, I see this:

Erica, the restart after reloading the handheld Operating system is dependant on the model of the BB and can take as long as 20 minutes.
