I have a blackberry 7290 and only have a computer cable to charge it. I have two batteries and they both only last about 4 hours. It seems like everytime i charge the second one though the battery last longer each time. it went from 4 hours to five. I dont know what the problem is? I updated frimware and reset everything. I dont know if there is something running that is causing this or what. cant tell if its the phone because i dont have another one. please is there anything that i can do? thanks

Have you deep cycle discharged/charged them? Three full cycles is the norm.

Let them run down, recharge without using... Rinse, lather, repeat 3 times.

Yes i have done were i drain the battery and then charge it back up full after. I have done that about three times. It should still be better than 4 hours though. Should i try to do a format or something? maybe its the phone. Would a wall charger be better?

i didnt recharge without use. i still had it on.. will that make a difference

Shouldn't no :( "IF" it were a battery only problem.

Sounds like a bigger problem. I'll bow to the more knowledgeable BB types.
