Default 8700c reset?

I just sold my bb 8700c. how do i reset back to factory specs and take all my information out of it?

Best way in my opinion is to run it through Desktop Manager and click next through the application loader till you get the advanced button..then select the bottom of 2 choices to erase. It will reload the OS from scratch.
