I bought a 7100t and then used the javaloader.exe to wipe it so that i could install the 7100g software on it since i use cingular. here is the problem, when i use the application loader to install the new software and the new OS, i get the message saying "No additional applications for your device were found"

Now i have this awesome blackberry 7100t paperweight. How can i get the OS installed on here?

1) Download the latest 7100t handheld software from T-Mobile and excute the downloaded file
2) Locate VENDOR.XML on your PC C: drive and delete it
3) Restart Desktop Manager

what if i want to put the cingular OS on the 7100 instead of the tmobile one?

would deleting the file allow me to do that, also?

Deleting VENDOR.XML is what allows you to put other vendor's code onto a BB.

I was able to load everything onto the 7100 perfectly after downloading the file. You are my new hero.

But, alas, I have a new problem. The hour glass has been spinning on the blackberry screen for about 10 minutes now. any ideas??

It can take up to 30 minutes relax and let it run its course.

I waited, and as said, it did its own thing. But, the unit is running really slow, and the browser has been replaced with "Enterprise Activiation"

How can i get my browser back?

Sorry for all the questions...i'm so new at this..

I believe that you have to have Cingular resend all the service books to you phone to fix that.... but that's my thought... if I am wrong someone will give you that right answer
