I ended up solving the problem by upgrading to 220.127.116.118 (112 was previously installed). For some reason, the browser wasn't loaded coming from the Verizon store.
Adding this in case someone else runs into the same problem.
Also calling Verizon Wireless's DateServices will help you set everything up in a timely fashion. When I called, I wasn't put on hold that the person who helped me was very nice and super helpful. I wish I had the number, but I'm sure you can get it from a VZW store on online.
I already had 4.1 and still no browser, but the problem a quickly taken care of once i talked to someone at DateServices!
