Well it looks like two weeks after i bought my 8700c from Cingular I find it for free through Amazon.

You're still within the 30 day return period. Return it and buy it through Amazon, but I think you need to get new service, which means new number. If you're out of contract with your original number, you can have them switch it without an ETF.

Not to mention that you have to wait forever for the rebates if you get them. I would h?e to say I would have to keep my number.

@lus if you get one that is DOA you or have issues within the first 30 days you have to have got thru them you cannot just go to the store and exchange it.
