Default Downgrade to bharti

Please Login to Remove!

Can someone point me in the right direction. I upgraded to Bharti and loved it. I then upgraded to telestra and had bluetooth bugs, battery drain, and delays with data- for what ever reason, but did not have these with Bharti.

With that said i want to reinstall bharti. I went back to Seattle18's page but he has been very on top of things and has already updated his links to the Telestra.

I am hoping someone can point me to where I can redownload the bharti OS and the appropriate alx.

Thanks.

In the themes forum, find the .alx thread and load the T-Mobile one which is apparently the same at the Bharti one according to jibi.

I went back to the Bharti. Love it.
For simplicitys sake, delete the Tes folder from the loader folder first.

Put Bharti into google, go to the website, re download the OS.

Then follow all the instructions to loading Tes but do it in the bharti. Use the .alx file provided in the directions, its fine.

Load Bharti and enjoy =)

whoscalling, I found the thread for the Bharti OS Download, go here:

http://blackberryforums.com/showthre...highlight=.alx

And select the Bharti Tele-Ventures Limited. I'm doing the same as we speak.

TRUE... Poor choice in words. I was amazed this morning when i check my blackberry. Went to bed with a 95% charge, checked the device this morning, 20%. And i have the device to auto off at 11:00pm and auto on at 6:30.

So the only thing that needs to be done on the PC side of things to remove Telestra is remove the Telestra folder under "loader"??

I tried re-loading Bharti again last night and nothing worked. It stopped at the part where I click on my Blackberry Desktop App and it did nothing. Whereas the time when I first installed Bharti and Telstar, it automatically asked to do an upgrade, this time nothing...jack squat. XKon, how did you do yours??

I just went back to bharti. You have to click on application loader and select load the older version.

I keep asking that...I'm starting to suspect that people went to it because of the numbering made it appear more advanced.....

I have to admit it,,,i went to Telestra because it was the latest and greatest. Now that I have experienced both I can honestly say for my particular 8700c Bharti blows away Telestra.

Having toruble reverting to T-mo/Bharti.
Followed all the steps in the Seattle's excellent step-by-step.
I'm never asked to upgrade the os as I was before.
When I luanch apploader it says it can't find anthing on the BB.
It does however sync fine.
I have un-installed and re-installed but still have the same issues.
Any help would be great.

That happened to me as well. I went into Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs, and erased the existing BlackBerry software - not the Desktop program, just the 4.1 handheld software in there. Then reinstall the T-Mo OS again and open App Loader again.

I've searched for the answer, and all that pops up are BES Admin posts that are all Greek to me...

Just added this to the instructions:

1a. On your PC, go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and delete any programs called BlackBerry v4.1.0 for the 8700 Series Wireless Handheld. Be sure to NOT delete the BlackBerry Desktop Software.
