does any one know how to add option in 7290, when i go to disable password
for my desktop manager, it doesnt give me an option to enable or disable
only wipe handheld and change password

version 4.02.56 7290 cingular firmware

any expert out there please answer this question

You probably have an IT Policy on you device that forces a password....you can't disable it.

I'm assuming you bought a used BB? If so, do a search for 'remove it policy' and you should find a few threads about how to remove that.

If your BB is work-supplied, you're probably SOL as it's probably company policy to force the password.

I had another 7100 it had option for enabled and disabled in security option.
even another 7290 has option.
is there any option i add manually when i am adding features in desktop manager?

I am thinking to use hex editor and edit manually
