Default Yahoo IM on 8700c BB

Is there a workaround to get Yahoo IM to work on a Cingular BB once it's installed? I tried installing it and running it before I read the fine print that said it won't work on Cingular phones.

Is installing Google Talk with all that tinkering the only way to access Yahoo IM?

No work around for Cingular. Google Talk is probably the best free way to get YIM, not sure if there is a free third party application for YIM. You can try through the mobile yahoo web page. If you don't mind paying you can go with third party software and that should do it too. Try or do a search on this board.
