Looks good. Sometimes I fear my 8700 will fall out since I usually have it sideways. I might have to get one of these.

Seidio has a special design to make sure your 8700C is very secure while it is in the holster.

Similar combo for Blackberry 7100i has been released for a while. here is the review in this forums.

Seidio Skin/Holster Combo for 7100i - Product Review

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Again I have had the great pleasure of reviewing another well designed product from Seidio.

I received the products via USPS in a padded envelope. I am already using the SKIN (See review here: Seidio Skin for 7100i - Product Review ) and I am quite happy with the overall design. I did suggest they modify the wheel opening as it felt too close for my comfort and it does not appear that this was done. In all fairness it may just be me that suggested it and therefore did NOT warrant a product change.

I have also been using the Seidio Holster which IMHO is the BEST CASE OUT for the 7100i. See many reviews here: Source For 7100i Holster with Swivel Clip

I will try and post some pictures tomorrow as I am trying to watch the RED WINGS win

In any case this is a combo of 2 great products. If you do not have either of these products yet I HIGHLY recommend them.

It appears the magnet is strong enough to put the BB to sleep. Like I said I have been using the SKIN now for a few weeks and did not like the fact that the original holster would not hold the phone with the skin on. Now I have the perfect solution. I can throw in my pocket when I am not wearing a belt and when I am I can now mount in the revised holster. Please note YOU CAN NOT USE THE HOLSTER FOR THE SKIN WITHOUT THE SKIN. This HOLSTER is bigger to accommodate the larger size (phone + skin). So do not think you holster the phone without the skin.

GOBLUE AND GO WINGS!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

A bit on the pricey side for a holster. I eagerly await the review!

I have been using the unskinned version for several weeks and am very pleased. The 8700c is very secure upright or sideways

Which two versions?

Do you mean the skinned and non-skinned versions?

One is larger to allow the fit of the skinned Blackberry.

No.

You need the "g" specific version.

It's not out yet.

I think it's the 8700r that I have? The T-mobile one? Not quite sure which type it is.
