Angry Sound issues!

Please Login to Remove!

Ok has anyone figured out how to make the BB 8700g silent. I mean completely silent. I can't get it to not play a sound. Even if I put all the profiles on silent the number keys still chime when your typing for the phone function. I also noticed it chimes when you hit the silent button on top during a phone call. Finally, the #msg# makes a VERY loud noise and can't be turned off. I am so pissed I just want the damn thing to not make a noise. Is that too much to ask????

You should make a profile named Silent and change all the options to be silent or vibrate. You can shut off the key tone in the profile you designate to be silent. Just play around with your options. It's a ton of fun.

Done that, I went to the silent profile and went through it, check all the setting with out any luck. I even went to screen/keyboard in options and set the key tone to "off". I have notice that turns off the key sound to everything except when I dial out on the phone. Is this happing to everyone or is there a setting I am missing?

Same problem here, how do you disable keytone sound when dialing a telephone number?

That's not a "keytone sound", that's the actual DTMF touchtones corresponding to each digit - no, you can't turn them off.
