If may be sooner than that, but we wouldn't want to mislead you by giving you a more hopeful arrival time. Thank you for your patience and please feel free to post the above information in the forum if we don't do it first.

Could you please tell me when a skin will be out for the 8700g and also the holster that will hold the 8700g SKINNED. Neither is out now right

Even the holster that would hold the 8700c SKINNED is not out now, is it?

Sincerely,
Eric

Perhaps you should get a set of the bestskinsever for now. I am using the Seidio holster when the 8700 is not in my pocket, but I am considering picking up the skin and the holster for the skin when it is released.

Default so you would recommend

the bestskinsever over the fortte or krusell cabriolet until the skin and holster for the skin come in? I am a little intimidated by all the talk of water or soapy water. When u are ready to take it off...does it come off as easily as a screen protector leaving no remnants?

Anyway, will the bestskinever on the blackberryg fit in the plain holster by seidio (not the one made for their skin)

I am actually also considering the Fortte case for everyday and using the skin and Seidio Holster for more casual situations. The total bestskinever for the 8700g still does fit in the seidio holster but there is now friction where it meets the clip and at the bottom.

As far as how well the bestskinsever is when you remove it. I'm not exactly sure as I've never removed it. I was a bit intimidated too with the water and soap on my 8700g. I would be extremely careful when applying it on the screen where water can seep in through the speaker holes.

thank you. from what you say and what I hear. It is great. but from how I would handle it, I'd be too anxious, so I won't get it. but I find it hard to believe it won't fit in the holster...huh weird. I thought it was thin just like a screen protector.

you considering the fortte cabriolet or one with the cover. I like the cover with the magnet, but didnot choose that because of it flipping back, as it can, and turning the BB off.

Allow me to put your apprehensions to rest. Using the Bset Skins Ever or the InvisibleSHIELD does take a little liquid use, but it is really easier than you may think. First of all, consider your choice first. The Best Skins Ever are only about $7 or $8 I think, and the InvisibleSHIELD skins are about $25 or so, BUT the InvisibleSHIELD skins are guaranteed for life! So you will only need to purchase them ONCE, forever. If they ever scratch or rub off, or get scratches or dings int hem, the company will replace then for no charge. The Best Skins Ever require you to purchase another set. They are the same product, just different purchase options.

As far as application goes, the Best Skins Ever tells you to use some soapy water, while the InvisibleSHIELD provides a spray bottle of an adhesive-esqu spray to use. You simply spray a little in your palm, place the skin piece in that palm, sticky side up, then spray some more on the skin piece, then apply it to the device. There is not a lot of excess liquid running all over the place like you might imagine. Just a little manuevering and some pressing firmly, and they're on. Let them sit overnight and you're protected. I cannot explain to you how durable they really are or how well they adhere to the device - it's a bit strange actually, just how well they adhere. You will be impressed.

At the moment, neither company offers the side pieces for the 8700c, only the screen, top, and bottom. For some reason, they both have side pieces for the 8700g, odd... Anyway, InvisibleSHIELD sent me some "g" sides to see if they will fit right on my 8700c, but they did not, and they are going to make some specially cut to fit. When they are ready I will get them and review. I have not reviewed the ones they sent me to allow them time to create new sides for the 8700c.

The point of this ramble is the product works well, and does not affect your device with liquid when installed correctly. I love mine so much I cannot ever see a reson to not have them installed. I recommend them to ALL BB users.

BTW, they do come off easily and leave no permenant remnants behind.

Default Thank You

For being so patient with me...

So I am still left with a few questions... but as far as those two products go...6 of one, half dozen of the other, depending on if I want a warranty and wanna put out the extra money right?

But.
do they go over the keyboard. I know nothing... You know Whitney's song "i have nothing" Wellk, "I Know Nothing"

Are they thicker than a screen Protector? They come in colors right. The best skinsever I only saw in red for the g. does that look horrible??

And you mean to tell me they protect so much, almost as good or better than using the BB in the Krusell or Fortte Cabriolet?

And lasly, if they are so small or thin, why won't they fit in the seidio holster?

No, they do not go over the keyboard.

Yes, they are about the same thickness as a screen protector.

No, they don't come in colors, they are clear.

No, using a leather case would provide more protection.

Yes, with the skins installed you can still use the holster.

I was interested in the Fortte lateral pouch for my 8700. The 8700 does fit in the Seidio holster with the bestskinsever on it's just that there is friction now when you insert it as the skins are not as frictionless as the original finish of the 8700 is. Now when you put it in and take it out you feel the skin kind of grip to the holster.
