Exclamation Removing Icons from Screen on 7130e

Please Login to Remove!

Does the 7130 allow you to remove icons from the "home screen?" I am not using an enterprise server and would like to remove the "Enterprise Activation" icon, or at least move it to the end of the list.

This should work on all BBs.

Scroll to the icon you want to hide. Press and release the Alternate key. Click the trackwheel. A menu should appear. Select "Hide Applicaton" and click the trackwheel once more. The icon should now be hidden.

It absolutely did work, Sparky! Thank you! How about getting back if I do indeed need to use it?

Follow the same process, but when the menu pops up, select "Show All". Any hidden icons will appear (probably with an "x" through them. Scroll to the icon you want to see again, press and release the Alternate key then click the trackwheel. In the menu, scroll to "Hide Application" (it should have a check mark next to it) and click the trackwheel. The icon will now be displayed as it was before it was hidden.

As an added step, and after you complete what I just described, press and release the Alternate key, click the trackwheel, scroll to "Show All" (it should have a check mark next to it) and click the trackwheel again. This will hide and of the icons that were hidden but showing again as a result of the first time you selected "Show All"

There are tons of excellent tips in the Sticky Threads at the top of the General BlackBerry Discussion forum. This particular question has been asked and answered many, many times.
