Default from i860 to 7100i contacts sync?

Please Login to Remove!

I just got fed up with my old motorola i860, so I got a 7100i today. I'm very carefull about saving my contacts with the i860. My old software saved them as a .mdb file. Why? I don't know. But when I try to access it with software for the blackberry it says "no dice fool". Is there any softare to get contacts from a i860 to a 7100i? Or do I have to go to one of those stores and have them read my sim cards?

Thanks for any help!

Copy all the contacts to an email to your BlackBerry and copy and paste them to your address book from the email. Or manually add each address to your address book, one by one. I had to do this when I upgraded from my Sidekick to my BB.

why don't you just take the sim card from the 860 and have them copied over to the sim on the 7100.

thats what i did.

What philton said will work. Just put the i860 sim in the 7100i and go into the address book. Click the wheel and you should see an option to copy the sim card address book

I couldn't do that when I switched over.
