I have a 7100t from Tmo...I am new ;). Anyway when i try to use it I get the error Please enter correct WAP settings. I enterend wap.voicestream.com under WAP gateway APN and nothing under IP and port. I also have wap.voicestream.com on my Blackberry's preferences. Any ideas?

What are you trying to do? Browse the web? Do you have the BlackBerry Data Service on your account?

i would advise using bloglines for your RSS needs set it up at www.bloglines.com then go to www.bloglines.com/mobile on your blackberry. it works great and it's free.
enjoy

I don't have to "re-login" to Bloglines w/ the built-in browser, but I don't know if that's due to my cookie settings, or the fact that I typically use Berry Bloglines (through the browser bookmarks, not the application) to read my feeds. It's more limited (and probably more frustrating to power users) than bloglines.com/mobile, but seems to be a little faster.

look around in the application's options or preferences (not sure, I don't use it, but it seems to be the obvious place to look). MichaelT hasn't been on this forum in 2 weeks now (look at his profile), so you likely won't be getting an answer from him.

re: NewsBerry v1.1 (BWC)

i have assigned the proper WAP settings, and am able to update the feeds, but the final results are mixed - the title and first bits of each feed are shown (as expected), but there is no available link to the actual article.

my 7100t is updated with the latest 4.0.2.32 from t-mo, and i have attempted OTA download and Desktop Manager installation of NB. i have no previous experience with RSS feeds, wireless or PC-based, but i have a basic understanding of it, and know a link to the full article should be available.

on a whim, i attempted an install of the BES/MDS version, which met with some success. i was not prompted to enter WAP settings, and the inital update following the install completed. when reviewing the feeds, i did see a different menu, and this menu now included an option to navigate to the article in full. the app was working as i expected it to, but then it decided it didn't like me.

after adding a feed or three, i attempted an update, but received an error identifying the MDS settings as an issue. i'm not operating via MDS, so that's to be expected, but then why did the first update work?

i have gone through standard trouble-shooting, with installs, uninstalls, resets, update-with-modified-feeds, update-without-modified-feeds, BWC, BES, OTA, Desktop... i'm at a loss.

i have submitted an email to 79bmedia support, and am currently awaiting response. i have used their applications on Palm previously, and have not been dissatisfied. i have considered other RSS readers, but before looking further, i would like to solve this error, or completely disqualify NewsBerry.

while awaiting response, i was hoping to hear from any NB users who have used either version, and how it works for you, especially if you are handling a 7100N. any ideas as to how to correct this, or steps you may have taken to have it function properly are appreciated.
