Default 8700g Device Frozen

Please Login to Remove!

Hey,

I was just loading an application on my 8700g and it rebooted itself to load and i unplugged it right as it was turning back on, right when it says "connecting to Desktop" and now it is stuck there, i cant get it off and the computer wont acknoledge that it is connected when it really is, so i cant back all my things up if i have to hard reset. What should I do?

Have you tried popping the battery out as a first step?

I pop my battery about once a week. Clears the cobwebs out of the 8700.
I just wish they made that darn battery cover easy to open. Once I have that greasy muffin there's no way that cover is coming off!
