Default Anyway to get a WAP browser?

Please Login to Remove!

Just upgraded my 8700c to 4.0 server side BES and now I have no Cingular browser. Appears to be due to IT control at my BES. I do, however have WAP connectivity (i.e. PocketDay WAP version works) but just no browser. Is there an option to download a WAP browser from somewhere? Tried Opera but seems to be using the BES. Howabout the cd that came with the 8700? Can I reinstall just the Cingular browser from that?

Usually you need to resend your service books but I'm not sure if it's the same on BES instead of BIS.

If they've pushed an IT policy to block the WAP browser, you're out of luck. But definitely try to resend the service book from the BWC site.
