Question Problems with Email (personal email)???

Just got the 8700g solely so I could stay up to minute with my email accounts on Yahoo, Lycos, and Go. I was able to set up Yahoo without a problem, but got an error message when trying to set up both Lycos and Go.

Technical support told me today that in order for personal email to work I have to contact Yahoo, Lycos and Go and pay extra (right now they're all free email) in order to see those emails on my Blackberry. When I pointed out that Yahoo works he told me that it shouldn't be working and didn't know why it was.

Is this true?! Has anyone else been able to set up a Lycos or Go email account? If so, did you have to pay extra to Lycos or Go in order for it to work?

Otherwise - does anyone have any ideas?

The technician apparaently did not know that T-Mobile's version of Blackberry Internet Sevice (BIS 2.0) integrates with Yahoo. To use Yahoo mail with the older BIS versions, you must pay Yahoo for POP3 access or auto-forwarding.
The question in relation to Lycos and Go is: do you have to pay for POP3 access or auto-forwarding? You need one of these two services to get email on your Blackberry.
