Are there any tricks to be able to dial phone numbers on a 7105T (or 7100T I assume), when the number given is an alpha string -- e.g., The Boston Globe iis 1-888-MY-GLOBE. Since the letters obviously don't align with the number, like a normal phone set I've not found an easy way to dial these numbers unless I have them in my address book.
My (poor) trick is to call my wife hoping she is home, and thus can translate the "number" on the real phone set to give the right numerical number to dial.
I hate to ressurect this thread from a few weeks ago but I ran into this last weekend! I start dialing and look down and I'm like oh crap LOL
I had to grab my girlfriends phone to get the letters. NOW I know how to get around it thanks to the forum
