Default Alpha Dialing on 7105T

Please Login to Remove!

Are there any tricks to be able to dial phone numbers on a 7105T (or 7100T I assume), when the number given is an alpha string -- e.g., The Boston Globe iis 1-888-MY-GLOBE. Since the letters obviously don't align with the number, like a normal phone set I've not found an easy way to dial these numbers unless I have them in my address book.

My (poor) trick is to call my wife hoping she is home, and thus can translate the "number" on the real phone set to give the right numerical number to dial.

Thanks in advance!

when dialing alpha numbers the device defaults to multitap. Just spell it out and the device does the rest
