Hi all

I have stumbled across a problem with the BlackBerry 7290. A couple of days before, when I receive SMS from people who I have in my address book, it automatically translates the sender's mobile number to the sender's name that I have got in the address book. Now that just stopped working, and not for one instance, but for all the SMS I received recently.

Is there a particular cause for this? I have phoned Optus (coz I am in Sydney), and they told me to check if there is any spaces in the number +61 4 12345678, and I followed their suggestion of taking the spaces away in between, but still receiving the SMS with the mobile number but not the user.

Anyone could shed some valuable experience?

A bit of update to my own thread... it was later discovered that the SIM card holder was snapped inside, hence the SIM card was kind of floating around. Called in for a replacement handheld and things seem to work again.
