Default Selling blackberry 7290- how to purge data

Please Login to Remove!

I want to completely clean out my blackberry 7290 to sell it. Is there an easy way to do this?? Thanks!

Get a copy of Javaloader (look for it on this board)
Unzip it.
Open a DOS prompt, connect the BB and type

javaloader -usb wipe

That will wipe out all programs and data, but not any IT Policy or password.

I think you also need to contact your service provider and release your PIN for the new buyer. If you were on a BES, you should ask them to remove your PIN/BBerry.

The nelsck beet should give you the otion of wipe handheld. You can sloa do it from the handheld manager. The pin issue should not matter I had a warnt replacment recently I don't think it is that much of an issue. Incidently how much are you selling that 7290 for?
