Question.

I have T-mo as my service provider and I want to tether the blackberry to my laptop (for use as a modem). I have (obviously) the BlackBerry Internet feature on my plan (not the BES one) and I am wondering if there are any fees for tethered data; T-Mo's site is not very forthcoming.

BlackBerry Forums+Search=Answer... [User] HOWTO: Use BlackBerry As Modem For Laptop! Kindly use the search feature next time. This is located in the BlackBerryFAQ at the top of the forum on the main page and every other for that matter.

This does not answer my question. I am asking if there are any fees associated with tethered data on the blackberry as I already have the BlackBerry Internet option on my plan.

I spoke to Scott with Blackberry Support at T-Mobile. The official word on tethering is that there are no additional fees to tether your blackberry to an external device.
