Default Getting emails twice

Please Login to Remove!

I've inherited the responsibility to help a client with his BlackBerry... my predecessor had attempted to install Redirector on my client's desktop, but was not able to get it to work... (?)... I suggested that we just use their Microsoft Exchange server to forward all emails to his BlackBerry address.

That sounded good to him, so we did that, and now he is getting all his emails to his Outlook (from Microsoft Exchange) AND to his BlackBerry (also from Microsoft Exchange). However, he is getting these emails TWICE on his BlackBerry.

My first guess as to why was because perhaps Redirector was forwarding them again from Outlook. Here's the catch: I coiuldn't find ANYTHING on his desktop that related to Redirector. I looked in Add/Remove Programs and in Program Files, ... and in Processes under Task Manager... but didn't see ANYTHING that I thought related to Redirector. I also looked in Outlook, but didn't see anything there either.

Am I missing something obvious? How can I determine if Redirector is sending his emails from Outlook to the BlackBerry? Is there some other logical reason why he would be getting his emails TWICE on his BlackBerry?

Thanks in advance...

when you open the emails what do the y say they were "recieved using"(just scroll to the top)? do you have a forwarding rule AND have it set up on his BIS to poll every 15 mins?

are you in BIS 1.8 or 2.0 (easiest way to tell is logging into the BIS site - if your in 1.8 you'll have an inbox)
