Default How to keep email account messages seperate?

Please Login to Remove!

I of course use text messaging, but also have three other email accounts configured on my Verizon 7130e.

The problem is that the messages for those three email accounts also show up under the normal "Messages" button as well, and that sucks, because I can't view just my text messages.

Is there an easy way to make email for a certain account only show up under it's own account button, and not under both?

Set up a keystroke to sort by text messages. See my tips docs for instructions depending on the OS. Might need to look at the 8700 tips since I haven't updated the 7100 tips for the newer OS.

Here is a work around when you go to Messages Click the Alt S that will show only SMS Message, Alt P will show only phone messages.

its really easy. HOLD down the shift key in the bottom left corner of your keypad and click the trackwheel in. select show all (it will be an option) then all your email accounts will show as if they are their own messaging icon. highlight the one you want and hold the shift button again and click the trackwheel in again. then unselect the "hide application" button. repeat process for all messaging accounts you want to be able to view separate.

let me know if you need help

Exclamation

On my 7130c:

I just use the "Zen" theme - it physically seperates SMS/MMS and email into two seperate inboxes.

A godsend for someone who recieves as many texts as I send emails.

Rock on, BB.
