Default Email notifications Icons

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
I have configured 3 mail id's on my BB 8700g (Office mail , Service provider mail , Gmail)

Is it possible to have seperate Icons as notifications to identify each mail profile visually ??

It should do that if you are using BlackBerry Internet Service 2.0 (or 2.1, can't remember which version has that lol)

If you are on ver BIS 2.0 you will get different icons for each registered email account, but you can not have different types of icons that notify you of a new message from your different accounts unless you look at thoes email "in-boxes" For example, if you are in your calender screen and you receive a message the little envlope icon appears there is not way to have a different icon for each of your accounts. If you get a message in any account the same envlope will appear.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

If you have BIS 2 then you can have all email folders displayed on the BB. When an email comes in to the specific folder you will see which has new mail.

As far as changing the standard little email icon notifier (tiny envelop) that displays on the BB, it is not possible.
