All of a sudden, after a few minutes of not touching my BB 8700C I'm being prompted to enter my password. I don't want to keep having to do this. Can someone tell me how to get rid of it? Thanks.

Options --> Security Options --> General Settings

set Password to "disabled"

If you're on a corporate BES, they may be pushing the security policy to your device. In this case, you will not be able to disable the password setting. You can increase also increase the Security Timeout.
