7100i vs. 7520, which should i get?
 

I have the opportunity to upgrade my nextel phone and I want to get a BB. They offer these two in my area and im not sure which i should get. Im sure the people in this Discussion may be a bit biased with the 7100i but all input is appreciated...

I just got the 7100 its nice takes some time 2 get use 2 suretype. I like the fact its not as bulky.

I would go for the 7100i.

I love mine now. Took some time to get used to, but being on here and learning what your phone can do, you learn to really appreciate it.

7100i FTW (y) Unless you need a full keyboard.

Suretype works great on the 7100i and learns words you use like odd names. Didnt take me long to get use to it when I upgraded from my 7520.

7100i is the way to go imo. I can type fast as hell on my bb with suretype since it learned words I use a lot. I also love the internet and everything on it. I just am patiently waiting on the OS upgrade for more ringtones =X

Few questions. Where would one get the OS upgrade? and second. Do you think that the OS upgrade will be, so that it will be able to play MP3 or wav ringtones? and so you can do a playback of video clips, if you store them on the card.

OS Upgrades are from RIM, you can search these forums for links or check Nextel.com as they also have a link to the lastest OS.

The current Nextel OS does not allow MP3 as ringtones, Vulcan was stating as he is awaiting the next update along with alot of us in hopes of having this option.

None of the RIM devices at this time will do video clips.

The SIM Cards in the devices are not for storage.
