Default I can't find my IM program On my 8700g

Please Login to Remove!

On the Zen theme. Any idea where it coulid be. I have a tmobile phone and updated, or rather unlocked..is that the right terminology.

BTW, what is the name of the program that comes with it?
Next, I see the whole page of questions and many asking for opinions for AIM especially. What is the best for Yahoo? Is there one that is best for Yahoo that is a all in one...sign all in one. Any of these that update the list of online users on their own AND give you a notifications like some Samsung phones?

Default I Installed Telstra

Was this a mistake by the way... i read so many bad things. Some good ones too. what is the difference anyway? It is the latest right?

But I still have no Instand Message Program? Does the new Tmobile not come with Oz. I know when I got it it had it...before I got the Zen themes.

Eric

Found it . It has to be downloaded. They just released them like that. My first one a month ago had it on it. As did my 7105t.

But still want a replacement. An always on IM program...what is your recommendation???

I downloaded BlackBerry Messenger, Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger onto my 7105t.

http://www.blackberry.com/messenger/entry.do BlackBerry Messenger

http://www.blackberry.com/YahooDownload/index.do Yahoo Messenger

http://www.blackberry.com/GoogleTalk/index.do Google Talk

I think all 3 can be done OTA (Over The Air) but I was able to install them with the BB connected to the PC but WITHOUT Desktop Manager running.

Note: With the Yahoo download, it will say "My carrier is not listed." Choose that option and the download will work.

The OZ client for IM on the 8700g is always on and works just fine, but you can only log on to one client at a time. Yet, Verichat works well on the BB. There's a yearly fee for Verichat. I used Verichat on my 7100g and 8700c. Verichat gives you 15 day trial.

The Oz that comes with your BB is not Always on in the true sense, not like Verichat, where it alerts you when someone new comes on AND it also logs you out when you get on a computer or another phone, etc. Verichat does not, SUPPOSEDLY. But I don't have it.

Thank you. If you can shed more light, I am still half in the dark. thanks, Eric

Verichat has a setting that'll allow you to stay logged on to AIM if you logon to AIM in other locations. Now, this setting on Verichat is only for AIM and not Yahoo or msn messenger. I don't know about ICQ because I don't use that one. Yet, with OZ, I haven't logged in to the instant messenger in other places.

Default Thanks.

Yeah. Oz will log you out if yoiu log into other locations.

But thanks. I did not know a lot of Verichat, and that that only works on AIM.

I am looking for one that will keep you logged into all of the programs, but specifically Yahoo.

Thanks again,
Eric

I know that Yahoo will log off if you log on to it in another location. Been there, done that. Good luck to you. I've tried it with several different im clients.
