Have you even tried searching for "JVM Error 102"? This question has been answered many times before.

You have no choice but to completely erase the handheld software and reinstall. Hope you had a previous backup. Use JL_Cmder to WIPE (option 5) your BlackBerry. Afterwards you will get a 505 or 507 error. This is normal and means that you have no handheld software installed. Download the handheld software from Nextel and reinstall on your BlackBerry. More specific instructions, and links to the software, can be found HERE.

You *tested* that link, right?

It returns no results.

The link expired. Typing

jvm error 102

in the search box returns a lot of information.

LizzieJ,
Did you get a useful answer to your query?
When I had similar problem, I couldn't get past "Not Connected" error on Desktop Manager when I ran AppLoader. I removed battery, chose connection type from AppLoader. As AppLoader started, I inserted the battery and eventually got to the place where I got a list of applications and a Next button. At the next screen, I chose Advanced. From there, I chose to erase EVERYTHING.
From there, everything was erased and OS was reloaded.

I have seen this one on my blackberry first 7100i. I wiped the os on the phone multiple times. When I did it would work for a about a week sometimes, and then boom jvm error 102. I finally ended up just getting another phone and I have not seen the problem ever since then. The phone was just defective.

same thing happened to me yesterday and after 2 hours on the phone with BB support, turns out the phone needs to be replaced. its 2 weeks old and no good anymore. now i have to see if i can find some store with one in stock to swap. what a PITA! also Nextel BB support said this was quite common and there is no resolve to it, either your lucky and it works or your assed out.
