Arrow Loading Apps

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have just gone from a PDA2k (imate) to the Blackberry 8700g and love it.

However after installing some software for it, i am getting the follwing error:

Error Starting
AppName:Error loading
module "AppName" too
many apps on device.

The device is on O2 in the UK/Ireland and is brand new, has no apps apart from the default and the 2 new apps I have installed. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Everything else rund very smoothly and well and am very impressed!

I had this problem with eSpell. Aftet I deleted a bunch of apps I finally got it to install OTA. I was then able to reinstall those apps without problem. eSpell support said that they had never had that problem before.
Have you downloaded any themes that you might temporarily delete? Certainly uninstall that one other app. Otherwise I'm not sure what you can do but contact PDA2K support.

Unhappy Thanks

Hi,

This is on my Blackberry, my PDA2k has def taken a back seat now I have the Blackberry!

I installed 2 apps on my Blackberry, nothing else on there apart from standard apps at all. But the 2 apps both give the same error message as above.

Any ideas or solutions are very welcome, makes no sense that on a brand new clean blackberry there would not be enough room to install or run 2 small apps?

Cheers

My bad. I thought PDA2k was the name of the software.
What software are you installing? Like I said above, deleting all unnecessary themes and software prior to installing the problematic program solved my problem. But if you have nothing to delete, I'm not sure what you should do.

Thumbs down Hmmm

Thats what I thought.

Its vanilla blackberry from O2 and has just the std apps that come pre-installed.

This does not bode well for anything being installed in the future! Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers

Question

Hello

I received a Blackberry 8700V last week from my Company and I would like to know what types of applications can be downloaded to Blackberries? Is there a typicale file extention like prc for Palms

I also see that in this site, there is a RSS News feed: is it possible to visualize this on a Blackberry and how?

Thanks in advance for your help

If you look at the top of every forum there are Sticky threads which provide great info on their selected topic.

After searching those threads and doing a search of the site, if the answer is not there, by all means open a thread.

There is tons of info on this board, sometimes overwhelming
