Default Address book help

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone
I just graduated high school and i'm looking to reorganize my address book. My last phone was an Erricson 1610 and i saved all my contacts to my SIM when i transfered them to my BB. It was a relief for it to be this easy, but when each individual number showed up as its individual contact, it got annoying. I have hundred apon hundreds of contacts in my phone that are all "work" numbers, it sucks.
My question is: are their any programs out there that can pull the address book out of the phone so it can be modified by a computer. This is driving me nuts, please help!

There is a software called DataPilot that can do that. You will just need to see if you can hook up your 1610 through a USB and get the adapter.

or just transfer the contacts from your SIM card to the Blackberry, then using the Blackberry Desktop Manager on your PC, do an Intellisync with Outlook and all your contacts will be in Outlook. Then you can combine them, manipulate them or do whatever. then you can clear out the addresses on your Blackberry and sync over the new and improved contacts from Outlook to your device. VOILA!
