Question Seemed to Have Lost my Email Settings Icon

Please Login to Remove!

I just noticed this morning that I no longer have my Email Settings Icon. I was using it yesterday to edit my signatures, and never ran into any problem. I have tried taking the battery out for a few minutes, but that did not bring back the icon.

Anyone have any idea why I lost that icon?

Give us more details. What version are you using ( H), BIS or BES, etc?

More than likely you will need to re-send your service books and do a hard reset.

I just purchased my new 7130e, and I use BIS. Yesterday, I used the Web Logon to edit my signature, and not Email Settings on my BB. Still, there didn't seem to be a problem in doing that.

With respect to version, I'm not quite sure what version you are after. Sorry for being such a newbie. Is there a tutorial somewhere that would explain the process of hard resetting my BB, and re-sending the service book?

I did find the following:

App Version 4.10.189
Platform 2.2.0.80

You were right on with that advice. I googled and found a hard reset was nothing more than removing the battery for 60 seconds. I replaced the battery, then re-sent my Service Books via the Web Client, and almost immediately I received the notifications, and the Email Settings icon re-appeared.

Thanks for the advice, and again I'm sorry for asking such newbie questions.
