Question Problem Syncing Calendar onto 2 BB's

Please Login to Remove!

I was trying to syncronize our work calendar using Outlook 2003 onto both our bb's. It did mine both just fine at first, but when the calendar was updated and I went back to syncronize our bb's, it did his, but it would not do anything on my bb. What could be causing this to happen or am I doing something wrong?

How are you syncing.... using USB cable or wirelessly via BES?

Would anyone here have any clue why this is happening? I've been searching and searching for an answer and nothing yet. I syncronize using USB cable. I can sync his bb with no problems, but when I try syncing mine, it won't do a thing.

If you use multiple profiles in Outlook, make sure the desktop manager is using the correct profile (Options > Profile Settings). Also make sure Intellisync is using the correct calendar by double-clicking on the Intellisync icon and choosing the Configure PIM button.

I'm not using multiple profiles on outlook. The settings are correct and I have the correct calendar listed as well. It worked before, it just stopped syncing onto my bb, but yet it is syncing his with no problems.

So its possible to synch the same calendar, etc. with Blackberry because I know you can't synch the same BES with 2 blackberrys.

Well I don't know that is what I am trying to find out. I use USB not BES to sync our calendar. We use the same calendar and I was able to load it onto both our BBs. The problem is when I tried to resync with the updated schedule on the calendar, it will sync onto his BB but not on mine.

I have an 8700g but not BES
On my PC I have Outlook 2003
In the past I have successfully synchronised MemoPad, Address and Calendar but now can no longer do so. I did have some Add-in software which I have since removed but still unable to synch anything despite reconfigurations and reboots of the handheld and the PC. Help please

It is possible to sync two BBs to the same Outlook calendar via a USB cable (but not with BES). My wife and I did that for several months before changing providers, at which point she went with a Treo. Can't think of any reason it would have suddenyl stopped. You said all the settings are correct; you've gone into Desktop Manage and made sure everything is set to sync PIM data?

I checked everything. It works just fine on his BB, but when I connect mine the desktop just sits and does nothing. I click on things and nothing happens. I can't figure out why this is happening.

When you plug in the USB cable, does the Desktop manager indicate the PIN of the device that's connected? You should see a different PIN for each device.

Do you see any activity in the Intellisync log when you connect your BB and do a sync?

When I connect my BB and the desktop window appears I am not able to do anything. I click to sync, nothing happens. Yet when I connect his BB, it works perfectly.
